What is WordPress® or CMS?

WordPress® is a content management system (CMS) that allows you to host and build websites. WordPress contains plugin architecture and a template system, so you can customize any website to fit your business, blog, portfolio, or online store.

Does Mtn. Giant write content or provide SEO?

We are not content providers. We can supply stock images for mockups or designs. We do not write or provide copy for websites. We do not spell check documents supplied to Mtn Giant. All copy must be proofed for grammar and spelling before providing us with content. All content must be supplied by the client in a digital format.

Does Mtn Giant provide hosting or domain registration?

We do not provide hosting services or domain registration but we do have a preferred vendor list that we can recommend for your website and domains.

What is your hourly rate?

Our hourly rate depends on the type of service we provide to you. The rate of design is very different from our development rate. Our maintenance contract rates are priced for each individual project.

Where is Mtn. Giant located?

We are located in the town of Marshall in Western North Carolina, United States of America.

Can we meet in person?

Absolutely, we provide face to face consultations and meetings within a 50 mile radius of Marshall, North Carolina. Otherwise we are always happy to meet virtually at a time that is convenient for you.

What days of the week do you operate?

We operate Monday through Friday from 8am – 6pm. In an emergency we do accommodate clients on the weekend depending on the severity of the situation.

What type of maintenance contracts do you offer?

We offer annual contracts of dedicated hours to a particular website. Those hours can range from 12 up to 96 per year. A typical website will receive 1 hour of technical maintenance per month. Click here to read more about our maintenance contracts.

Do contract hours rollover if my contract expires?

Yes, all unused hours rollover month to month and contract to contract as long as the contract has not expired or terminated.

How much time does it take to make requested updates?

Typically we respond to requests for updates in 24 to 48 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If updates require more than 2 hours and are not a technical emergency, we need at least 3-5 business days. Your assigned technician will provide an exact timeframe.

What type of guarantees does Mtn Giant provide with security?

Nothing is 100% guaranteed. We can provide a robust and proven method of securing and backing up your website. We have an extensive background in dealing with all types of scenarios but with multiple access points controlled by third parties we cannot guarantee a website’s security on all fronts.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not provide refunds. We can credit your account for other services.
